District 12 Southwest
The Cheyenne Mountain School District is located in the southwest corner of beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. The District has a total enrollment of approximately 4,600 students in preschool through twelfth grade. There are a total of five elementary schools offering grades K-6, and one preschool. The District has one junior high school for grades 7-8, a high school for grades 9-12, and a charter school serving grades K-12.

 Being at or near the top of all schools in Colorado and the Nation in academic achievement is the result of students who come to school ready to learn, strong parent and community participation and support, and outstanding teachers, administrators, and a board of education who are committed to providing an environment conducive to all aspects of learning. District 20 offers unique academics that the students and family pride themselves on.  Standardized test scores in D20 remain consistently high, and each year boasts a great many recipients and scholarships among its graduates.  D20 currently has the following schools:

Lewis Palmer District 38
The Lewis-Palmer School District is situated at the North end of El Paso County, just North of the United States Air Force Academy.  D38 serves about 6000 students, it encompasses Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor, and the North Part of the Black Forest area.  D38 does not only offer its core curriculum, it also expands for students that quality for special education, and the talented and gifted services, and students that speak different languages other than English. Indicators of student learning as measured by state and national tests, confirm that D38 ranks among the highest in the state.  Our high school graduation rate is over 95%, and approximately 85% continue on to college.  District 38 school website
